Hilltop Conservancy

Bike Ride June 17,2006 Saturday the Hilltop Reservation welcomed 56 happy cyclists to the paved loop, all the participants (half were adults, the balance were children) enjoyed perfect weather and reported seeing some local residents including a box turtle, deer, turkeys and of course chipmunks. Two large rock outcroppings that were marked as climbing rocks for kids had many visitors. Thanks to Kate and Bill and Matt for helping greet the cyclists and answer questions; your efforts made this a very care free and easy event. Special thanks to the good Samaritan who collected all the balloon markers that I went to retrieve on Tuesday, aside from the new survey markers, the paved loop has been returned to it's natural state and awaits hikers and cyclists.
